$13.3 MILLION Construction of a new 13,500 SF Field House with new locker rooms, training rooms, offices and a VIP/Conference room. Resurfacing of the existing football field to create a multi-purpose, synthetic turf field with lighting, fencing, scoreboard, and spectator seating for approximately 1,000. Resurfacing of the existing baseball field with synthetic turf and the development of a new softball field. The Field House is the centerpiece of a multi-phased Campus Master Plan, and the new face of the athletics program. $31 MILLION Riverdale campus upgrades. Six projects spanning four years, comprising [1] Fast-track 3,600 SF classroom addition and renovation of the Weinstein Science Center; [2] Riverdale Master Plan; [3] Relocation of Lloyd Hall, a 19th century Victorian Mansion to the Northwest corner of the campus to create the space for two state of the art athletic fields, a glass enclosed handicap elevator, admissions building, new entrance, roadway and infrastructure. The 3-story stone and masonry building was moved and turned on hydraulic driven, rubber tire dollies a distance of 320 feet and placed by the new main entrance to the school. The interior and exterior were restored, replicating the historical finishes and updating the mechanical systems; [4] 2,000 SF renovation to five classrooms in Mow Hall; [5] Phased renovations to four buildings for classrooms and administrative offices, new roof, enlargement of dining room and servery, additions of multipurpose rooms and dance studio; [6] Fast-track removal and replacement of 17,000 SF of exterior brick and stone facade including windows, steel brick angles and sheathing in order to remediate a mold condition at Lindenbaum Hall; replacement of all unit ventilation and installation of new mechanical systems. Perkins Eastman was the architect for the Lindenbaum Hall remediation. All construction was performed while the campus remained fully occupied and operational.
